2 nabbed with Heroin

Imphal: Manipur Police arrested two drug peddlers with Heroin powder from Thangmeiband Watham Leirak, Imphal West on Thursday morning.

The two drug dealers were identified as one Md Muzamin Hussain, 38, son of late Md Kayamuddin of Khomidok, Heikrumakhong Bazaar and Md Amir Khan, 34, son of Md Abdul Latif of Mayang Imphal Bengoon Makha Leikai.

Police said during frisking and checking the two drug peddlers were detained at at Thangmeiband Watham Leirak while they were coming in a scooter (Honda Activa) bearing registration number MN01AH 9562 from Khoyathong side.

During examination 28 plastic vials containing heroin powder weighing 34 gm. was detected. Two mobile phones along with Rs. 1,380 were also seized from their possession, police said.

The arrested person along with the seizures have been handed over to Imphal Police station for further necessary action.
