‘Necessary steps being taken for full implementation of NEP, 2020 in Manipur’


Imphal: The state government and SCERT has been taking various necessary steps to fully implement National Education Policy (NEP), 2020, joint director of State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT), Jim G.Thingujam said on Thursday.

The joint director was speaking at a one-day consultative meeting on National Curriculum Framework which was jointly organised by SCERT and National Council of Education Research Training, New Delhi held at the hall of SCERT, Lamphelpat, Imphal West.

Jim said SCERT has formed 4 different state level committees to take necessary steps to bring curriculum development under NEP, 2020.

The committees have been taking various steps for early education and teacher’s education on curriculum framework, he added.

Jim appealed the concerned officials to find out what could be added or removed on nqtional curriculum framework that suits with local context of Manipur.
