Biren greets people on May Day


Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh greets the people of Manipur on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, popularly known as May Day which falls on May 1.

May day commemorates the historic struggles and gains made by workers and the labour movement in different countries. It is dedicated to all the hard worker and their achievements. It is the day to all of the labours who did their best in their work and struggled in the past when our country was ruled by the Britishers, Biren said.

“On this day, let us commit ourselves to approach the future with optimism, working towards benefits for ourselves, our families, our society, our economy, and our nation,” the chief minister said.
