3 vehicle lifters arrested, 7 stolen vehicles recovered


Imphal: Aa part of the drive launched under Anti vehicle Theft Cell, Manipur, under ADGP(L/O) Clay Khongsai and IGP(Z-I) Themthing,  during the last few days, Bishnupur District Police arrested three vehicle lifters.

The vehicle lifters were Md. Mujib Khan, 25, son of Mohammad Khan of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai, Md. Nawaz Khan, 20, son of late Nashir Khan of Lilong Mayai Leikai and Amom Sanamacha, 32, son of A. Yumjao Singh of Wangoo Heinoujam Leikai.

Seven stolen vehicles were recovered. They were one Suzuki Gixxer bearing No registration number, one Royal Enfield bullet (metal black) bearing no registration number, one Royal Enfield Bullet (black) bearing registration number MN03B-9001 having Chassis number ME343S5F122197367(suspected to be tampered),  one Yamaha Fascino (grey) having registration number MN02G-4804 with Chassis number MEISED1X6K0046888.(suspectedto be tampered),  one Jawa bike (blue) bearing registration number MN03S-0882 with Chassis number MZDKW1C1621240786.(suspected to be tampered), one Activa 6G (blue) bearing registration number MN06SE-1591 (suspected to be tampered) and one steel silver colour Kia Seltos Car bearing no registration number.

Chief minister N. Biren Singh congratulated the anti-vehicle theft cell.
