239 cases of liquor in bottle seized

Imphal: A team of  New Keithelmanbi Police and Patsoi Police of Manipur under the supervision of SP Imphal West have seized 239 cases of IMFL(Indian made foreign liquor) of different brands and quantities and apprehended with two involved persons, on Monday.

The arrested persons were Thokchom Surchandra Singh, 35, son of late Th. Tomba Singh and Thokchom Sangkar Singh, 21, son of Th. Gopeshwor Singh of Thoudam Leirak Mamang , Thoubal district.

They were apprehended from Keithelmanbi Police Check Point.

The seized items will be handed over to Excise station for taking further necessary action, police said.
