Blast in Imphal injures one person

Imphal: A blast, suspected to be of an IED, that triggered, near the gate of Mahabir mandir, Khurai Telepati, Imphal East at around 8.30pm injured one man.
The injured person was identified as Subham Prasad, 27, son of Nandakumar Prasad of Khurai Telepati.
A team of Porompat Police station, Imphal East rushed to the spot. Later, a team of forensic science also arrived at the spot.
MLA Th. Arunkumar; former MLA O. Henry also came at the blast site.
Tension erupted by Telepati locals against the bomb blast in residential area.
An Imphal East police team along with Imphal East SP controlled the people.
The blast reportedly damaged two vehicles.
