Outreach programme for tax payers

Imphal: Office of the additional  ommissioner of Income Tax, Range-. Imphal on Friday organised Outreach Programme for Income Tax payers on the topic Importance of Paying Taxes and Ease of Tax Compliance at Kakching Municipal Council meeting hall.

Ng. Joseph Gangte, additional Ccmmissioner of Income Tax, Range-Imphal informed that the main features of the outreach programme was power point presentation regarding the importance of paying taxes as well as ease of tax compliance and the Income TaxRepartment North Eastern Region would like to felicitates the achievers in their own fields, the outstanding achievers in different fields.

He urged the gathering to take the opportunities to interact with the income tax department and sort out the problems and difficulties they are facing.

As part of the programme, 13 selected persons were honoured with Memento and Certificate; in recognition of their untiring efforts and achievements in different fields including, agiculture, farming, sports, sculpture work.

The progamme was organised under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsa” and “North East Region Converses”.
