MAHUD minster inspects vulnerable river banks of Imphal River

Imphal: Following incessant rainfall in Manipur most of the water level of rivers started to flow water beyond danger level, MAHUD minister Yumnam Khemchand visited river bank of Imphal river in Singjamei area on Wednesday.

The minister along with caretaker mayor Imphal Municipal Corporation, Lokeshwor also accompanied the visit at Singjamei Oinam Thingel, Imphal West.

During the visit Khemchand instructed the officials concerned to take necessary steps at vulnerable places which is likely to be affected by flood.

Under the instruction of Khemchand and as precautionary measures were taken up at vulnerable river banks of Imphal River.
