One nabbed with 4 kg Opium, 275 gm Heroin in Manipur

Imphal: As a part of our continuous effort towards War on Drugs, a team of NAB Manipur apprehended one person from Sekmaijing Bridge, Imphal West on Sunday evening.

The drug peddler was nabbed during patrolling and surprise checking along Mayai Lambi Road.

He was identified as Nandeibam Kenedy, 21, son of N. Ibotomba Meitei, 21, resident of Wapokpi Chingchep Leikai, Sugnu, Kakching District, Manipur.

With the arrest of Kenedy about 4 kg of suspected Opium and suspected Heroin powder weighing about 275 gm. A regular case has been registered at NAB Police station for investigation, police said.
