Bharati, Ranjan visits Phubala health and welness centre

Imphal: A ministerial team led by Union minister of state for health and family welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar and health and family welfare and IPR minister, Manipur Dr S. Ranjan Singh visited Health and Wellness Centre, Phubala in Bishnupur district.

A discussion and interaction program was also held with the health officials and staffs of the center as a part of the visit.

Bharati informed that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully implemented many health care and welfare schemes of the public. More than 1.5 lakh health and wellness centres have been opened in the country. The government has set the objective to reach different heath care and welfare schemes to the nook and corners of the country, she added.

With the help of the collective effort of our health workers including doctors, scientists, nurses, ASHA workers and Covid warriors, the country is successful to drive away corona disease, she said.

She congratulated the role played by the state health workers during such crucial time of the pandemic. She also highlighted the sincere role of the Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh for successful implementation of the different health schemes of the government.

She further stated that for a strong and healthy India, cooperation of all sections of people is necessary.

The ministerial team includes health director Dr. K. Rajo Singh, State Mission director, NHM, Manipur, Dr Somorjit Ningombam, deputy director, Dr Prabin, other officials and staffs of health department.
