The meeting was conducted in presence of national general secretary organisation, BJP, BL Santosh.
Biren said 5 years have been completed to fight against drugs under ‘War on Drugs’, however, with the recent bust of drug manufacturing unit at Lilong shows that some people are trying to destroy Manipur intentionally. BJP government will not remain silent.
The eviction work at Waithou was conducted not to harm the people but to aware the people that the state has law and no one is above the law. Along the stretch of national highway-2 there were many hillocks just adjacent to the highway, however, in the last few years many hillocks have been disappeared with the manipulation made by the politicians. In order to conserve the hillocks along the national highway the eviction work was taken up, he added.
