Flood alert in Bishnupur

Imphal: Bishnupur district administration of Manipur has sounded flood alert to all concerned and take precautionary measures with the rising of water level of the rivers in the district.

Bishnupur district deputy commissioner Lourembam Bikram in a notification issued on Saturday said, “In view of the incessant rainfall experienced in the district for the last few days and the rising level of rivers in the district, it is seen that there is likelihood for occurrence of flood in many places of the district.”

“Therefore, it is hereby notified for information to all concerned to be alert and take up precautionary measures in close coordination with all stakeholders.”
