Meeyamgi Numit for Thoubal on every 3rd Friday

Imphal: Meeyamgi Numit for Thoubal district will be organised on 3rd Friday of every month with its launching on July 15, Thoubal deputy commissioner A. Subhash Singh said in a special order issued on Friday.

Meeyamgi Numit (People’s Day) is a service platform to listen to the grievances of people initiated by chief minister N. Biren Singh during his first tenure as chief minister of Manipur on May15, 2017.

The special order was issued to inform to all the district level officers (DLOs), public leaders and general public on the launching Meeyamgi Numit by the district administration in pursuance of the decision taken by the state Cabinet on May 18.

It informed that if 3rd Friday of a month happens to be general holiday or public holiday then the previous working day will be organized as the District Meeyamgl Numit. For smooth functioning and for better facilitation and co-ordination, a Special dedicated Meeyamgi Numit Cell is constituted.

M. Pouralung Kabui (AC to DC) is the district co-prdinator of the cell. The cell email ID is meyamginumit.tbl@gmail.com, the order said.

Anyone can send his or her grievances on this ‘dedicated’ email ID, at least 3 days before every 3rd Friday of the month, Subhash said.

On the Meeyamgi Numit, all DLOs will be present along with necessary preparation and specific assistance will be given preferably on the same date itself.

Meeyamgi Numit in respect of Thoubal district will be held from 9.30 am onwards at counting hall, deputy commissioner’s office complex, Thoubal.
