15 km Men’s Open Cross Country Run held in Kakching

Imphal: Men’s Open Cross Country Run (15 km) from Waikhong Police station to Indoor Stadium, Kakching, in connection with International Day against Drug abuse and illicit trafficking 2022 was organised on Sunday by Kakching District Police and Anahata Mind Foundation.

The rally was Flagged off  by  Romendro,  additional superintendent of police Kakching with OC Kakching and OC Sugnu in the morning at Waikhong after taking a pledge by all participants to further the message of Anti drug usage. It concluded at YAS indoor stadium in Kakching.

A total of 56 participants took part in the run including several police personnel. The top three were awarded with cash prize while five others were given consolation prizes.

The youngest and oldest participants were also fecilitated. Officers of the district further spoke on the importance of the day and urged the youth to take the message of anti drug usage to the society.
