Manipur people representatives decide to distribute fertilisers through MLAs

Imphal: MLAs meeting in Imphal chaired by chief minister N.Biren Singh on Monday decided to initiate the distribution of fertilisers through the MLAs of each constituency.

“Chaired a meeting with all the MLAs of the BJP-led Govt. and discussed the issues regarding fertilisers in the State. After a thorough deliberation on the current availability of stocks and the consignments which are on the way to Manipur, we have decided to initiate the distribution through the MLAs of each constituency,” Biren writes on his Facebook wall.

“To avoid any form of mismanagement, we have also worked out a mechanism to ensure transparency in distribution. I assure that there will be no shortage of fertilisers in the state,” Biren said.
