Manipur shuttler Meiraba bags Bronze in France

Imphal: Maisnam Meiraba Luwang of Manipur who represented India at the ADIDAS Nantes (France) International Challenge 2022″, Badminton tournament basged Bronze medal

The tournament was organised by Franch Badminton Federation under Badminton World Federation/Europe Badminton at Rezé, France, in June 23-26.

In the first round of the tournament Meiraba defeated Tobias Kuenzi of  Switzerland by 21/13:21/19. In the pre-quarter Meiraba defeated Chia Hao Lee of Chinese Taipei by 21/14:21/16.

In the quarter final he defeated Olympian Misha Zilberman of Israel (tournament Seeding no. 1) by 21/12 :21/17.

In the semi-final Meiraba lost to Christo Povpov of France (Seeding no 4) by 21/9:15/21:20/22.

Meiraba, he got BWF Rankings Point 2800 from this tournament.
