Immediately remove encroached structures in Imphal East: Deputy commissioner

Imphal: Deputy commissioner, Imphal East has notified to immediately remove encroached structures and stop encroaching activities in the district.

State lands, public drains, public Right of Way roads, river banks and all types of government and public premises under the jurisdiction of the district need to be protected from being encroached upon by any kind of unauthorised structures or activity, thereby, causing nuisance and hindrance to the public at large, it is hereby notified to all concerned to remove such structures or immediately stop the activity in the interest of general public and the overall planning, development and growth of the state, the notification issued on Monday said.

All sub-divisional officers, sub-deputy collectors and executive magistrates of the district are authorised to take up necessary action at the earliest, it added.

Action Taken Report shall be submitted directly to the Aaditional deputy commissioner, Imphal East district every Friday by 3 pm, the notification said.
