Covid-19 active cases rise to 20 in Manipur

Imphal: With the confirmation of four positive cases on Thursday and two recoveries, the Covid-19 active cases in Manipur has gone up to 20.

Three of the new cases belonged to Imphal West and the other one to Kangpokpi.

The positivity rate was 5.2 percent.

No death case was registered. The cumulative number of Covid deaths remained at 2120.

All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, state Covid-19 common control room said.

The cumulative number of recovered cases is 1,35,130. The recovery rate was 98.44 percent.
