Covid-19 active cases rise to 24 in Manipur

Imphal: Covid-19 active cases has risen to 24 in Manipur with the confirmation of four more positive cases while no recovery was reported on Friday.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (2) and Imphal West (2).

All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said,

The positivity rate reported was 5.7 percent.

No Covid-19 related death case was registered. The cumulative number of positive cases remained at 2120 in the state.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,37,274. The recovery rate is 98.44 percent, the control room said.
