16 positive for Covid-19 in Manipur

Imphal: Manipur on Sunday reported 16 Covid-19 positive cases and four recovered cases pushing the active cases tally to 43.

The new Covid cases belonged to Imphal East (6), Imphal West (9) and Chandel (1).

All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.

The positivity rate was 12.7 percent.

No case of Covid-19 death was reported. The cumulative number of  deaths was 2120.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,37,297. The recovery rate was 98.42 percent.
