Another landslide hits Manipur along NH-37

Imphal: After a massive landslide that occurred in Noney district of Manipur, another landslide occurred along Imphal-Jiribam road (National Highway-37) in Tamenglong district.

“Pls take care and avoid this road NH 37 for time being,” chief minister N.Biren Singh writes on his Facebook wall.

The landslide occurred on Sunday early morning.

“Due to continuous heavy downpour and landslides NH 37 has multiple road blockades at Nungdolan, Nungkao and Sibilong. Concerned authorities have been informed to clear the road,” Biren said.
