Manipur reviews Covid-19 situation, precautionary measures to be taken up

Imphal: Manipur chief minister N.Biren Singh on Monday chaired a review meeting, here, over the rising Covid-19 cases in the state in the past one week.
A total of 37 cases have been registered in the past 7 days.
Sixteen new cases were confirmed on Sunday taking the active cases to 43. The positivity rate was 12.7 percent.
“With Covid cases rising in other states, we are taking up all necessary precaution to prevent any breakout,” Biren writes on his Facebook post.
The meeting was attended by health minister Dr Sapam Ranjan, social welfare minister H. Dingo Singh and senior top civil and police officers.
