Eat Right Mela, walkathon at Imphal West on July 29

Imphal: To commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence, the ministry of health and family welfare has proposed to take up activities, events and projects.

As a part of celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), Walkathon and Eat Right Mela are proposed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, wherein people from all walks of life would join to celebrate Freedom of Choice of foods to enable all citizens to eat right.

A press communique released by Designated Officer, Food Safety Administration, Imphal West said in connection with the celebration, Food Safety Administration, Imphal West has been selected to organize Walkathon and Eat Right Mela under AKAM.

The programme will be conducted on July 29 at Medical Directorate, Lamphel to Indian Medical Association (IMA), Manipur state branch Auditorium, IMA Road, Lamphelpat, Imphal.
