2nd session of 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly  begins on July 25

Imphal: Second session for 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly session has been scheduled to conduct during July 25 to August 5, having 11 sittings.

As per scheduled of the upcoming session issued by secretary Manipur Legislative Assembly, K. Meghajit Singh, the budget estimation for 2022-23 will be presented on the Assembly floor and  discuss on it.

There will sitting on Saturday even as the state government had already declared Saturday as holiday for state employees.

During the session budget allocation for various departments would be discussed.

On the first day of the session second report of Business Advisory Committee report shall be presented as per scheduled.

Manipur governor  La. Ganesan on Firday last summoned the 2nd session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly, stating that it will be held at 11 am on July 25 in the state Assembly hall, Chingmeirong, Imphal.

There were three sittings during the first session of 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly.

In the first session of 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly, 54 MLAs were presented in the treasury bench whereas five Congress MLAs and one independent MLA of Karong Assembly Constituency, J Kumo Sha were seen in the opposition bench.
