“Patrol Watch”, “Tourist Police Bishnupur” launched

Imphal: Manipur DGP P. Doungel on Thursday launched “Patrol Watch” mobile app and “Tourist Police Bishnupur” at district headquarter Bishnupur.

“Patrol Watch” app is a GPS based location tracking application which enables SP and gazetted police officers of the district to supervise real time deployment of police personnel on various duties.

“Tourist police Bishnupur” was also launched to provide security and police service to tourists visiting the district particularly at Maibam lotpa war memorial/peace museum, Sendra, Keibul Lamjao National Park and INA Moirang.

A Tourist Police Bishnupur Helpline Number +91 8798907141 was also launched by DGP Manipur.

The function was attended by Ashutosh Sinha, IPS ADGP(Int), Clay Khongsai, IPS ADGP (LO), K. Jayanta IPS,IGP Z-II, Angam Kamei, DIG (R-III), Worgnam IPS, DIG (R-II), Mangkhogin Haokip DIG (R-IV), N.Herojit Meetei, SP, Bishnupur and other rank officers of the district.
