89 confirmed positive for Covid-19, active cases rise to 385

Imphal: Manipur on Friday reported 89 Covid-19 positive cases and 24 recovered cases pushing the active cases tally to 385 in the state.
The fresh cases were confirmed at RIMS (2), JNIMS (11) and other testing centres (76). The positivity rate was 14.8 percent.
They belonged to Imphal East (28), Imphal West (39), Thoubal (5), Bishnupur (1), ICakching (7), Senapati (1), Jiribam (2), Tengnoupal (1), Ukhrul (2), Kangpokpi (1), Omrachandpur (1) and Chandel (1).
All necessary medical precaution, measures like containinent and contact tracing are in place, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
No Covid-19 related death case was reported. The cumulative number of deaths was 2120.
The 24 recovered persons were discharged from Home Isolation.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 1,37,779 and the recovery rate was 98.18 percent.
