Manipur has 450 Covid-19 active cases

Imphal: Manipur on Saturday reported 94 new Covid-19 cases and 29 recovered cases taking the active cases tally to 450 in the state.
The new cases belonged to Central Armed Police Force (1) Imphal East (28), Imphal West (41), Thoubal (8), Bishnupur (4), Kakching (1), Ukhrul (3), I.ngpokpi (3), Churachandpur (2) and Noney (3).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The positivity rate was 15.9 percent.
With no Covid-19 related death the cumulative number of deaths stood at 2120.
The recovered persons were discharged from Home Isolation (16), RIMS (2), JNIMS (6), Shija Hospital (4) Chandel (1).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,37,873. The recovery rate is 98.14 percent, the control room said.
As on Friday, a total of 117 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 14 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
