Manipur Covid-19 active cases fall to 582

Imphal: With the recovery of 86 Covid-19 patients and confirmation of 53 new cases, the active cases in Manipur dropped to 582 on Saturday.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (15), Imphal West (21), Thoubal (3), Bishnupur (), Kangpokpi (2), Ukhrul (2), Senapati (4), Tamenglong (1), Churachandpur (3) and Chandel (2).

The positivity rate was 9 percent.

The cumulative number of deaths was 2129, that of positive cases was 1,39,037, that of Covid related death was 2029 and the recovery rate was 98.05 percent
