Manipur Covid-19 active cases fall to 297

Imphal: With the recovery of 152 Covid-19 patients and confirmation of 46 positive cases, the Covid active cases in Manipur have come down at 297 on Friday.

The recovery rate climbed to 98.26 percent. The positivity rate was 7.2 percent.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (9), Imphal West (16), Thoubal (3), Bishnupur (1), Kakching (2), Kangpolcpi (1), Ukhrul (6), Pherzawl (1), Chandel (4) and Churachandpur (3). All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.

The cumulative number of Covid deaths remained at 2133 and that of positive cases rose to 1,39,295.
