‘School staff photos, details should be displayed on walls to check impersonation’

Imphal: Manipur government has been considering the issue of irregularity in attendance and also engaging people to perform duties in their place by teaching and non-teaching staff in schools under the department of education-S, Manipur.

“As a step to improve attendance and check impersonation by school teachers and supporting staff, especially in remote and hilly areas of the state, it is hereby instructed that all heads of schools shall display the details of the teaching and non-teaching staff of their respective schools at a prominent location or wall of the school building,” said education-S commissioner H. Gyan Prakash in an office memorandum on Friday.

The commissioner advised all zonal education officers to ensure compliance of the instruction and submit a compliance report to the director (education-S), on or before August 15 without fail.
