Erolnungdagi to screen at Melbourne

Imphal: “Erolnungdagi” (From the Depth), a 10-minute film, directed by Manipur’s Rakesh Moirangthem and produced by Dark Room has been selected to screen at the 13th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Australia.

The film festival that began on Friday will be organised till August 30. It can be enjoyed on online too.

Erolnungdagi is at present streaming at IFFM Melbourne on Google Play Store.

The film tries to depict the challenges faced by a land like Manipur, which has its own culture and language, in the changing world.

It has bagged several awards including 2nd Best Film award in the 14th International Guwahati Film Festival, 2022 held at Guwahati and Best Film award in Cinelearner International Film Festival, 2022 held at Patna. The film was screened at different national and international film festivals including the National Documentary Short Film Festival, 2022.

Popularly known actor Edhou takes the lead role in the film.
