112 queries, complaints received, 48 disposed on Hill Leaders’ Day, Meeyamgi Numit for Churachandpur


Imphal: The Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit for Churachandpur district was held on Thursday at Multi-purpose hall, Mini-Secretariat Complex, Tuibong.

Deputy commissioner Sharath Chandra Arroju was joined by all district level officers including SP Shivanand Surve, DFO, CEO/ADCC, all SDOs/BDOs and officers from other line departments.

During the event, vaccination programme and Health check-up counters were setup by health department, 24 persons were administered vaccination and 16 persons were provided free medical check-up.

A total of 112 queries and complaints were received, out of which, 48 queries were resolved on the spot.

The deputycommissioner directed all concerned to expedite the disposal of all complaints received and submit action taken report/status of complaints by August 26.

The complaints and applications received included amongst others on MGNREGS, CMHT, driving license, SWAN connection, PLMVY, certificate, forest land, voter ID card, road conditions, passing of Bills by TO, registration of NGOs, traffic related matter, district council matter, electricity related issues, education, insecticide and fertilizers, revenue matters,fisheries matter, job card matter, housing scheme, loan issue, CHMT verifier, etc.

Sharath also interacted with the people on ‘first come first serve’ basis smoothly to ensure that weaker section of the society, widows, differently abled persons get adequate opportunity for interaction.

The district Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit is being held every third Friday of a month. The 3rd Friday this month being a holiday, the Day was held on Thursday.
