On this festive day, let us remind ourselves of the teachings of Lord Krishna and work for promotion of peace, cooperation and mutual goodwill among all sections of our diverse society, he added.
“I wish the people of the State, especially followers and devotees of Shri Krishna, on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. Krishna Janmastami is the celebration of the occasion of the birth of Shri Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.,” Biren said.
“I pray that Shri Krishna’s philosophy, which is timeless and universal, will guide our people and the state towards a more peaceful future filled with development and communal harmony. Shri Krishna gave us the most sacred teachings of Bhagavad Gita. May his message and philosophy dispel the darkness and light the lamp of wisdom in everyone’s hearts,” he added.
