Two women drug peddlers nabbed with 1 kg opium in Manipur

Imphal: A team of Churachandpur District Police of Manipur on Friday nabbed two women drug peddlers from Koite village with 1 kg of opium.

The duo were identified as Vulneichonh, 38, wife of Thangmimlen of Molphei Tampa and Vakneikim  Kipgen, 42, wife of Thongminlen Kipgen

The were apprehended by the district police team that included women police station officer-in-charge during search near an oil pump of the village.

A case has been registered under NDPS Act against the two ladies, a police report said.
