Covid-19 infects another 11

Imphal: Manipur on Monday reported 11 new Covid-19 positive cases, nine recovered cases and no death case, taking the active cases tally to 102.

The new cases were confirmed at RIMS (1) and other testing centres (10). They belonged to Imphal East (1), Imphal West (1), Tboubal (1), Bishnupur (1), Noney (1), Ukhrul (2) and Churachandpur (4). The positivity rate was 2.3 percent.

The recovered persons were discharged after completion of surveillance from Home Isolation (6), JNIMS (2) and SHRI (1).

The cumulative number of deaths is 2145 and that of positive cases is 1,39,620. The recovery rate is 98.39 percent, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
