Covid-19 infects 17 persons

Imphal: Manipur on Friday reported 17 new Covid-19 positive cases, 21 recovered cases and no death case, leaving the death case standstill at 2146 and active cases at 86.

The fresh cases were confirmed at RIMS (1), JNIMS (10) and other testing centres (6). They belonged to Imphal East (3), Imphal West (10), Bishnupur ) Churachandpur (2) and Kamjong (1). The positivity rate was 3.2 percent.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,39,671. The recovery rate is 98.40 percent, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
