Minister Dingo attends national labour conference


Imphal: Skill, labour, employment and entrepreneurship minister H. Dingo Singh attended National Labour Conference of labour ministers and labour secretaries of states and Union territories which was held at Taj Hotel, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh on August 25 and 26.

The conference was inaugurated and addressed by Prime Minister through video conference. It was chaired by Bhupender Yadav, Union minister for labour and employment.

The two days conference will deliberateon the integration of e-Shram portal for onboarding social security schemes run by central government and state government, Swasthya se Samriddhi-improving medical care and services through Employees’ State Insurance hospitals run by state governments and integration with PMJAY, framing of rules under four Labour Codes and modalities for implementation along with development of Portal and Vision Shramev Jayate @ 2047.

The minister was accompanied by K.Saratkumar Singh, chairperson (MBOCWWB), B.John Tlangtinkhuma, secretary (skill, labour, employment and entrepreneurship), Manipur and Peter Salam, deputy labour commissioner, Manipur.
