Ganesan greets on Ganesh Chaturthi

Imphal: Manipur governor La. Ganesan has greeted  the people of Manipur on the sacred occasion of “Ganesh Chaturthi” which falls on Wednesday.

“On this holy and pious occasion, let all of us rededicate to the noble ideals of peace. harmony and brotherhood espoused by Him for a better world devoid of all evils. Let this sacred day be observed in its true spirit,” Ganesan said.

The festival of “Ganesh Chaturthi” is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal that brightens up everyone’s moods and lives. Ganesh Chaturthi/Ganesh Puja is one of the widely celebrated Hindu festivals in the country. The blessings of this God are invoked at religious ceremonies since He is the one who can overcome all difficulties to success, especially when people are commencing a new business or an enterprise, he added.

On this day, devotees celebrate the birthday of Lord Ganesha. the Elephant-headed God, who is the symbol of good fortune, wisdom and intelligence. “On this happy occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, I wish that good fortune may always be with the people of Manipur.
