12 more confirmed Covid-19 positive

Imphal: As against four recovered Covid-19 patients 12 new cases were reported with no death case on Wednesday in Manipur, pushing the active cases tally to 67.

The new cases were confirmed at RIMS (4) and other testing centres (8). They belonged to Imphal East (2), Imphal West (5), Bishnupur (2) and Chandel (3). The positivity rate was 2.7 percent.

The cumulative number of deaths remained at 2147.

The recovered cases were discharged after completion of surveillance from Home Isolation (2), JNIMS (1) and Chandel (1).

The cumulative number of positive casan is 1,39,709 and the recovery rate is 98.42 percent, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
