Eight more catch Covid-19 in Manipur

Imphal: Manipur on Thursday reported eight new Covid-19 positive cases, eight recovered cases and no death case, leaving the active cases tally at 67.

The fresh cases were confirmed at RIMS (2), JNIMS (2) and other testing centres (4). They belonged to Imphal West (3), Thoubal (1), Bishnupur (1) and Churachandpur (3). The positivity rate was 1.6 percent.

The cumulative number of deaths is 2147 and that of positive cases is 1,39,717. The recovery rate is 98.42 percent, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
