His speech went viral in the social media. Such speech made by him in the public platform has tarnished the image of the university which prima facie appears to be highly derogatory and defamatory, says the show cause notice issued by Prof. W. Chandbabu Singh, Registrar on Wednesday.

The Deans’ Committee in its meeting held on Tuesday considered the matter in detail and resolved to issue a show cause notice to him before taking any necessary action as per law, if so required, it adds.
