Biren showers Durga Puja greetings

Imphal: “May this festival provide an inspiration for us to follow the path of righteousness and also reinforce the bond of brotherhood and amity among all sections of the society in the state,” chief minister greets Manipur people on the festive occasion of Durga Puja.

Durga Puja is celebrated with different themes in various parts of India. It signifies the triumph of righteousness over evil. “The festival reminds us of the power of ethical and moral behaviour and the value system which are the bedrock of our society,” Biren said.

May this Durga Puja usher in greater peace and prosperity for all and propel each one of us to follow the path of righteousness, he added.
