Heroin dealer nabbed

Imphal: A team of Irilbung Police station of Manipur on Sunday apprehended one drug trafficker with 24 vials of Heroin powder from Kiyamgei Mamang Leikai, Imphal East.

The drug dealer was identified as Md. Ramijuddin, 42, son of late Md. Khomei of Kiyamgei Muslim Oinam Loukol.

He was apprehended during police frisking and checking near a waiting shed.

According to a poice report, he was coming in a very suspicious manner had ran away by seeing the police team towards a nearby house. The team chased him and detained for verification.

He was searched in the presence of an executive magistrate. A civilian present there in the spot was requested to be witness of the search.

Magistrate and the civil witness 24 vials containing suspected Heroin No. 4 powder was detected.

The suspected heroin no. 4 powder was seized at the spot. The powder drug weigh about 10 gm.

He was arrested at the spot and a case was registered under ND & PS Act for investigation, the police report said.
