Covid-19 infects 2 in Manipur

Imphal: On Wednesday two persons were reported as new cases of Covid-19 are reported, taking the cumulative number of Covid cases in the state to 139833.

The new cases belonged to Imphal East and Imphal West. The positivity rate was 0.9 percent.

Six Covid patients were recovered. The number of active cases dropped to 12.

No death due to Covid-19 has been reported in the last 24 hours from any part of the state. The cumulative number of Covid 19 deaths remains at 2149, the state Covid-19 common control room said.

The recovery rate was 98.45 percent.

The number of doses of Covid vaccine administered on Tuesday was 971.
