Covid-19 infects 7 persons in 24 hrs Manipur, active cases rise to 24

Imphal: Manipur on Tuesday reported seven new Covid-19 positive cases and one recovered case, taking the active cases tally to 24.
The fresh cases belonged two each to Imphal East and Kamjong; and one each to Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Tengnoupal districts.
The positivity rate rises to 4 percent.
No death due to Covid 19 has been reported in the last 24 hours from any part of the state. The cumulative number of Covid 19 deaths remains at 2149, state Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases has risen to 139853. The recovery rate was 98.45 percent.
The number of doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered on Monday was 718.
