STC BSF Churachandpur observes “Rastriya Ekta Diwas”

Imphal: STC BSF Churachandpur observed “Rastriya Ekta Diwas” (National Unity Day) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with an aim to foster and reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen unity, integrity and security of our nation, by reinforcing the value of a strong and united India.

On this occasion, Umesh Kumar Nayal, PPMG, PPMDS inspector general STC BSF Churachandpur flagged off a bike rally in presence of officers, men, villagers of village Gangpimual, Pearsonmun and New Lamka and retirees.

Almost 120 bikers took out the rally in the entire Churachandpur city area to spread the message of reaffirmation of solidarity among the people of India and to maintain the spirit of ‘Unity In Diversity’ among the people.

The populace of Churachandpur actively participated in the rally and praised the efforts of BSF personnel in entirety, said a press statement.
