Jiribam helipad cash counter robbed

Imphal: A sum of Rs 10,07,900 was robbed by two miscreants from the cash counter of Harinagar Helipad, Jiribam at around 2.10 pm on Monday.

It is reported that two unknown persons wearing face mask came in a black colour motor cycle at the helipad of Jiribam. One of them entered inside the cash counter and extorted the money from cash in-charge at gun point. The other companion was waiting for the partner at the gate of the helipad on the bike.

After taking the cash the two persons immediately fled from the spot on the motorcycle.

The money robbed was the sale proceeds for selling tickets of the day, police said.
