AMTDGF calls off Economic Blockade, appeals to release blockade supporters

Imphal: All Manipur Tribals Development Grievances Forum (AMTDGF) has called off its indefinite blockade imposed along Highway No.2 (Dimapur – Impahl) and Highway No 37 (Jaribam – Imphal) as Manipur government assured to release Rs150 crore under MGNREGA to all 16 districts of Manipur and the remaining balance on phase wise basis within January, 2023 without any delay.

AMTDGF appeals to the state government to release all the executives and blockade supporters detained by police personal without any condition, it also appeal to withdraw arrest warrant issue against AMTDGF executives.

AMTDGF also thanked all blockade supporters and public of Manipur for supporting AMTDGF agitation in the highest interest of Job Card Holder (MGNREGA) of Manipur.
