Manipur has 16 Covid-19 active cases

Imphal: Manipur on Saturday reported one new Covid-19 case and two recovered cases, taking the active cases tally to 16.

The solitary Covid case belonged to Thoubal district. The positivity rate was 1.6 percent.

The cumulative number of Covid 19 cases in the state now stands at 1, 39,890, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.

No death due to Covid-19 has been reported in the last 24 hours from any part of the state. The cumulative number of Covid-19 deaths remains at 2149,  it added.

The recovery rate was 98.45 percent.
