Winter school classes to start at 9 am

Imphal: With the advent of winter, the school hour in Manipur that has been starting at 8 am will start at 9 am with effect from November 21 to 31.

The Directorate of Education (S), Manipur on Thursday issued a notification in this regard.

It is notified for information of all concerned that the school hours of all state government, aided and private unaided schools across the state shall start from 9 am with effect from November 21, 2022 to January 31, 2023″ the notification said.

The school closing time will be proportionately extended by one hour, it added.
